The 2013 55th Annual Grammy Awards LIVE on Vh1 presented by NESCAFÉ Tune in: Feb 11th LIVE at 6:30am with a prime time repeat at 9pm.

2012 saw quite a few artists making it big, and the top of the lot have been nominated under the Best New Artist category for this year’s Grammy awards. Have a look at the artists who made the cut and let us know who you think will walk away with the award!

Alabama Shakes

Alabama Shakes is an American rock band formed in Alabama, consisting of lead singer Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg, bassist Zac Cockrell, and drummer Steve Johnson.

The band, best known for its single We Are Young was formed by Nate Ruess who was previously a part of The Format.

Hunter Hayes

Hunter is an American country music singer/songwriter who released his self-titled debut album in October of 2011.

The Lumineers

The Lumineers is a folk-rock band from Denver, Colorado. Their self-titled debut album was released on April 3rd, 2012.

Frank Ocean

Frank Ocean (Christopher Francis Ocean) is a singer/songwriter from Louisiana. He ghostwrote earlier in his career for artists such as Justin Bieber and John Legend.
