Guess who wants to be Deepika Padukone’s Valentine this year? Apparently Captain Coconut.

According to a delightful email I received this morning one super-fan is clearly “nuts” about Dippy’s new avatar in Race 2. So nuts in fact that she received an anonymous Valentine from him with a handwritten note saying, “Here’s some tender love and care for the only girl I’m nuts about.” And get this – the “gift” involved 14 tender coconuts with red heart-shaped chocolates set inside the shell.

Um… I have no words. BUT since I am the original conspiracy theorist/Gossip Girl I’ve “cracked” it for you. The code that is :)

FYI, my favourite bit of this entire PR exclusive is the part of the email that says, “While it might not be new for Diva Deepika to be showered with so much attention, the gift surely was a surprise – 14 tender coconuts with red heart-shaped chocolates set inside the shell with such love & care, each 1 being sent every hour through the day! What a way to spend the day of love! Has the fan discovered that Deepika has a tender coconut fetish that we don’t know about? Or is this fan just totally nuts about her?! Guess we’ll never know!”

Please read this aloud, with feeling. And applaud their clever use of “fetish” in there for a little extra bump.

And as if it were the gift that keeps on giving… “Deepika’s comment on the same:”
