Guess which controversial sex siren is back in Mumbai? It’s none other than Meera, the Pakistani import who made headlines with her first Bollywood film – Soni Razdan’s Nazar – by kissing actor Ashmit Patel.

Not only did Pakistani conservatives issue death threats against the actress but they threatened to bar her from entering their country ever again. The scene was finally cut out from the film.

Post Nazar, Meera acted in a few other B-Town films which didn’t fare to well. And probably because of the debacle, she disappeared and was unheard of until yesterday, when she came out in public to attend artist Amisha Mehta’s exhibition called Colour Dance.

At the preview – wearing a shocking pink saree – Meera was seen happily chatting with Urvashi Sharma and Hrishita Bhatt. Is this outing a prelude to some film announcements? Only time will tell!
