Like I told you recently, after meeting him a few times, I’m very much warming up to John Abraham. He actually seems like one of the few guys relatively unaffected by Bollywood – he always keeps a low profile, except when promoting a film. He was doing just that on The Front Row with Anupama Chopra this week, when she asked him two questions everyone’s been wondering: 1) Why does he keep such a low profile; and 2) Is he married already?! Here are his answers!
Anupama Chopra: John, you have kept it very simple. You are not somebody who is often seen at parties or functions. Why is that?
John Abraham: Parties I don’t go to because I don’t drink. So I meet people whom I am close to outside parties or I speak to them on phone. From our industry I am very fond of so many people and I am very proud to be the part of this industry, but parties I can’t handle. I prefer motorcycling in the night.
Anupama: And will we know when you’ve decided to get married? Or are you married already?
John Abraham: The day I decide to tie the knot, I don’t know whether I’ll be that person who will really go out and announce it, so I’ll just keep it very low, and very simple. I don’t even know how many people would be there besides the two of us. (laughs)
