Director Anurag Kashyap Receives His Biggest Award, Yet!

Wow! And even that exclamation just might pale in comparison to what director Anurag Kashyap might have felt after receiving a letter from none other than Martin Scorsese – the award winning director of cult films like Raging Bull, New York New York, Casino, Goodfellas, The Aviator and Hugo, among others.
Kashyap tweeted the letter and wrote, “My biggest award yet!”

From this, we can safely assume that Anurag sent Scorsese a box-set of his films andnd we like that Martin Scorsese acknowledges his effort by writing, “I’ve been shooting my film for the past three months but found the time to watch the pictures over the weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed Dev D and Gangs Of Wasseypur and found them exciting and inspiring!”
