You ever think about the kind of conversations celebrities had with their star kids? I gotta imagine that some of them, after having lived in the industry themselves, would have reservations about their children working in Bollywood. On this week’s The Front Row, Anupama Chopra poses this question to Sanjay Dutt – would he want his daughter, Iqra, to become an actor? Here’s an excerpt from the show!
Anupama Chopra: Your daughter Iqra is so beautiful. 20 years from now if she says “I want to be an actor,” what are you going to say?
Sanjay Dutt: No.
Anupama Chopra: You won’t even talk about it?
Sanjay Dutt: I won’t talk about it.
Anupama Chopra: But I suspect that this decision of yours may not hold. What do you think?
Sanjay Dutt: I don’t know, let’s see what happens. See, nor does my wife want it. So, it doesn’t mean that I am alone as far as this is concerned
Anupama Chopra: So, that will be a tough hurdle for her then?
Sanjay Dutt: It will be, yes. Nahi toh ek toh ek parent toh patt jata hai na. (smiles)
