Bollywood and Lakme Fashion Week go hand in hand together. It was more omnipresent at Kunal Rawal and Shehla Khan’s joint show. Good pal Shahid Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor walked the ramp for him while teen heart throb Varun Dhawan sat front row. The gorgeous Karisma Kapoor sashayed down the catwalk for Shehla.

The energy was high and the excitement palatable. With portions of the song Mera Naam Lakhan playing in the background menswear designer Kunal showcased a collection that was well tailored, well constructed and easy to wear. It started off with grungy pieces and then moved towards sleek semi-casual wear. I particularly loved printed shirts that he sent out. Keeping with the playful vibe Arjun Kapoor strutted out dancing away and punching the air to the lyrics One Two Ka Four. Not to be outdone Shahid stepped onstage to loud cheers debuting a shaggier hairdo.
Shehlaa by Shehla Khan
Shehla Khan debuted her first ever runway collection to a packed audience. The Boudoir collection had all the right elements – lace, chiffon and Georgette and sheer elements. Pretty sure these pieces will be snapped up by celebrity stylists in a heartbeat.
