We’ve been hearing about Gippi for a while, but it’s finally time to meet her! The team at Dharma have just released the trailer of the upcoming Sonam Nair-directed Gippi, starring Riya Vij, Divya Dutta and Taaha Shah and this one looks like it’s going to be a refreshing change! Infact, Karan Johar himself says that it’s an unusual film for Dharma to be backing, but he fell in love with the script when he read it and knew they had to make a movie. Love how openly the film talks about things that are generally considered “taboo,” even though kids that age discuss them anyway! Riya Vij is already looking like quite the rockstar and it is always, always a treat to see Divya Dutta on screen, so I can’t wait to watch this one. Feel-good cinema is definitely welcome and, I don’t know about you, but I’m thinking this one is going to be like English Vinglish with kids 🙂 What do you think – like the trailer?
