Anil Kapoor sure is flying high these days. His performance in Shootout at Wadala was well-received, the film has been doing some great business, and he’s in the midst of working on his Indian adaptation of the American television show, 24. But, despite it all, the actor is very much a family man and shares a strong bond with his wife and kids. In a recent interview, he spoke about Sonam Kapoor and the relationship he shares with her. Here’s what he said!
According to HT, Anil says that, “Sonam is wonderful, innocent and very sensitive. I have to handle her with care. But she controls me a lot. In fact, I have to listen to a lot of diktats by both Sonam and Rhea. They have a lot of say in my professional life.” He also goes on to say that he’d sacrifice all his fame for her, and if a situation of rivalry ever arises, he’ll “hang his boots.”
As for his wife, Anil says they always manage to sort out their problems within a few hours and have made a pact that they will never go to bed without making things right. He calls her a “caring and loving anchor,” and gives her all the credit for him being such a family man.
