Coco Chanel’s contribution to fashion is nothing short of remarkable. She gave us the tweed jacket, Little Black Dress, the Breton stripes, the first designer perfume – Chanel No.5. She forever changed the way we dressed. Now creative director of Chanel Karl Lagerfeld has roped in Keira Knightley who is the face of Chanel Mademoiselle to star as Coco in a new film Once Upon a Time.

The film takes back to 1913, when Chanel opened her first ever store in Deauville. With Coco interacting with her well-heeled customers, she draws influence from their style, such as the tweed jacket and the string of pearls. The film celebrates 100 years of the boutique opening.

The film also stars some of Lagerfeld’s favourite models such as Saskia de Brauw, Brad Kroenig, Hudson Kroenig, Jamie Bochert, Baptiste Giabiconi, Sebastien Jondeau, Jake Davies, Lindsey Wixson, Stella Tennant and Tallulah Harlech.
