The Front Row – Go Goa Gone

Ooh ooh ooh, looks like someone’s calling Sajid Khan out on his famous ego. This director has gone on record before to state that he can’t make a flop film, and is even known for calling his movies “career-making” projects for some actors. He did that yet again with Saif Ali Khan, who he will be working with for an upcoming movie. Sajid calls it “Saif’s biggest film of his career,” and considering that Saif’s done scores of films and has been working in the industry for over two decades, we’re assuming that didn’t sit right with him. That’s why, on The Front Row with Anupama Chopra this week, he calls Sajid out on it and suggests he wear his “humble hat.” Here’s what Saif said!

Anupama Chopra: Sajid Khan says that the film you are doing with him is going to be the biggest film of your career. How are you feeling about it?

Saif Ali Khan: I would like to encourage Sajid to put on his humble hat now and just actually deliver that rather than saying it. We don’t need the negative vibes. People invariably get irritated if you blow your own trumpet too much and that is Sajid’s style. I don’t want him to change that. He is primarily a funny person. We did an interview back in the day, and I found him very funny ever since then. Our script together is slapstick, which is something I really do enjoy and it’s comedy and it’s honestly funny. So, I am looking forward to it.
