Akshay Kumar was spotted by the photogs outside PVR over the weekend, where the actor took out some time to catch a movie screening. Good thing, too – we hear he’s super busy these days and infact doesn’t have much space in his schedule! This doesn’t stop him, however, from charging a large amount even for shorter acting stints. Wanna know how much he’s apparently getting paid for a film?
Word has it that Akshay will be doing the Shaukeen remake to be directed by Rumy Jaffrey, and will be playing the role that Mithun did in the original film. He agreed to do the film for a remuneration of 45 crores, but apparently advised the director that he only had 20 days of his schedule to allot for the film. Rumy Jaffery, we hear, is fine with this, as he believes he can wrap the shooting up in that time. So lucky Akki, I guess – if it’s true he’s getting 45 cores for 20 days of work, it’s a pretty sweet deal!
He is also apparently charging 50 crores for the remake of Vijay starrer Thuppaki.
