Shah Rukh Khan is no stranger to injury, but yet again the actor will have to undergo surgery at a suburban Mumbai hospital to treat his shoulder. He suffered an injury while shooting for some action sequences for Chennai Express, and although he was advised to undergo surgery as soon as possible, he put it off until he was free of commitments.
The injury, apparently, was fairly serious – even though he was going about work as normal, word has it that he suffered terrible pain every morning and could only move his shoulders once he had been massaged. But SRK was adamant that he complete everything that needed to be done, so he wrapped up shooting for Chennai Express, completed a shoot for Filmfare and even put in an appearance for the IPL finale. Once everything was done, he scheduled the appointment and will therefore undergo surgery today, Tuesday.
Apparently, his son, Aryan, who is currently studying in the UK, flew down so that he could spend time with his dad. Shah Rukh is expected to return home and rest there, as he doesn’t like spending time in hospitals.
