Considering that Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has turned out to be such a stupendous success, we wonder whether Katrina Kaif has been regretting her decision! The film had originally come to her, but Kat had passed on the offer (after going back-and-forth about it for six months), thinking that her role wasn’t substantial enough.
Since she said no, Ayan took the film to Deepika Padukone and DPad agreed to do the film. And then, you know how well that turned out – 100 crores before the end of the week – so that would have made for a very happy team indeed. But we hear that Katrina, after seeing the success of the film, sent Ayan a message congratulating him on the achievement. Sweet gesture on Kat’s part, but we’re gonna go ahead and guess that Deepika didn’t get a similar message from her? 😉
