Clearly, I’ve got gossip 🙂 A journo pal just called my Bollywood spy to narrate an interesting experience! She was chatting with Ranveer Singh for a story and the chat seemed to be going well. UNTIL she made a major faux pas and accidentally said, “thank you…. Ranbir”
KABOOM.
Uh oh. I mean in her defence it’s an honest mistake and the names do sound quite alike but she went on to reveal that as soon as RS heard he TOTALLY lost it and ended up lecturing her on how she should be better prepared and at least know who she’s chatting with!
I’m guessing the fact that Ranbir Kapoor is his current squeeze Deepika Padukone‘s ex (and they have a massive movie out together) probably didn’t help much? Needless to say she was petrified and sent him a long S-O-R-R-Y *cue Roja* text. LOL.
Oh don’t worry dear journo, I’ve been there too 🙂
PS. Considering I have been plagued with a rhyming sibling name all my life I find this all pretty hilarious. (Yes, my sister’s name is Shalini and we are 12 years apart. Try THAT on for size!) This also brings to mind that hilarious moment when another journo accidentally called Sushmita Sen – wait for it – Bipasha Basu during her Blenders Pride Fashion Tour! Now those I agree are a little harder to mix up, wouldn’t you say? 🙂 xoxo
