Aaand it’s finally out: the theatrical trailer of the Shah Rukh Khan/Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express has finally been launched, and even though we were already anticipating a crazy ride, this takes it to another level. SRK fans are in for a treat as well, since the trailer starts off in typical Shah Rukh style: he’s back as Rahul, and there’s a DDLJ scene thrown in there for good measure. After that, however, the film turns everything on its head. Have a look!
Holy sh*t, Deepika’s accent! I doubt it’s her speaking, but it’s so odd to associate this voice/accent with her. Clearly a very different character for her and I hope she’s able to carry it off. As for the film on a whole, it’s definitely the Rohit Shetty brand of wacky cinema. What do you think of it?
