Move over ballet flats, step aside peep-toe pumps for gladiator shoes are back in vogue. Seen on the catwalks of Versace, Alexander Wang and Altuzarra. It bears testament that this trend is here to stay.
The 2013 version has got makeover in the form of pointy toe pumps and S&M inspired straps. Style mavens Rihanna and Kourtney Kardashian (in Stuart Weitzman) have already been spotted wearing theirs out and about.
So how does one wear this trend? If opting for knee-length gladiators pair it with something short and fuss-free after all your legs will be doing all the talking. Go for a a pair of high-waisted shorts a shift dress. Alternatively, you can wear a maxi dress that has a thigh-grazing slit that’s perfect to show off those shoes.
