Remember when we gave you the dish earlier about what Ayan Mukerji is planning for his upcoming film? Yup, now recent reports doing the rounds suggest that he’s working on the script for a superhero flick, and, as is obvious, Ranbir Kapoor will bag the lead role!
Word has it that Ayan is currently holidaying in Barcelona, where he is working on the script for this film. Ranbir, on his part, seems to have given free rein to Ayan, as he trusts him and is very much interested in working together again. Of course, this won’t only be a new character for Ranbir, but it will also be something very different for Ayan as it’s a departure from Wake Up Sid – and he’ll need to ensure that his film is on par (special effects wise) with other superhero films like Ra.One and Krrish 3.
It’s still early days, of course, and we’ll know more going forward… but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t already looking forward to it. 🙂
