Oh snap! Looks like the first lady of social media just got smacked down to third place! Last Jan she lost her most followers status to baby Beibs and and now Katy Perry has over taken her too! But I wouldn’t cry her a river just yet, even though she hasn’t been active on Twitter since February, she still gets 33,260 new followers EVERY DAY.
But for some reason she’s changed her profile picture to the standard Twitter egg and made her profile temporarily shutdown. It’s possible this is a publicity stunt for her new album Artpop but who knows for sure. Her last tweet was:
Now on a daily average Katy Perry is growing 12,300 new followers more than Lady Gaga (since Gaga’s inactivity), but is still far behind Twitter King Bieber who currently has 41,670,688 followers. Wowzer.
