Designer Narendra Kumar was caught clowning around with the stunning actress Sonal Chauhan as the duo launched the fifth edition of the SWISS Narendra Kumar Calendar.
The theme this year was La Dolce Vita and Sonal was photographed in Nari’s couture gowns against the magnificent settings of the cities of Lugano and Ticino, the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland.
The launch was held at the Hotel Shangri-La Mumbai where the ballroom was setup to look like a European café, with candles and exquisite flower arrangements. The atmosphere had a Dolce Vita feel to it wherein guests could enjoy classical, jazz and contemporary music.
Narendra Kumar showcased his bespoke designs made especially for the calendar shoot, with Sonal Chauhan emerging as the showstopper to unveil the calendar.
Adding a touch of lightness and humour was a clown from the Dimitry School of Physical Theatre. Since some parts of the calendar are shot in this school with the clowns and performers, Narendra Kumar too dressed up like one of them in order to bring to life a page a from the calendar.
