Today marks the first death anniversary of India’s original superstar, Rajesh Khanna. To pay tribute to one of the most influential actors of our country, UTV Stars has announced that they will be installing a brass statue of him at the Walk of the Stars on Bandra Bandstand Promenade.
The installation, which will take place early in August, will have Rajesh Khanna’s life-size statue featuring alongside other notable Bollywood personalities such as Yash Chopra, Dev Anand and Raj Kapoor. The brass statue will immortalize one of his famous poses, and will be unveiled by the actor’s family and other well-known names from the industry.
