Today, Salman Khan attended a court hearing for his 2002 case, in which he allegedly ran over five people sleeping on the sidewalk outside the American Express bakery in Bandra. The actor has been charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
Salman has pleaded not guilty, but if he is found guilty, he could face upto ten years in jail. The next court hearing will occur on August 19th, but Salman will be exempted from appearing for that one.
We’ll have to wait and see how the case progresses to know the actor’s fate.
