Since we’ve all been waiting to see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan back on the big screen, there have been many reports in the past about her comeback films and what project she plans on taking up first. Now, word has it that Ash may get roped in for an item number!
Apparently, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is keen to get Aishwarya for an item song in his upcoming film Ram Leela, starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. No word yet on whether she has agreed, but the two have shared a good working relationship in the past, doing films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas together.
Madhuri Dixit also similarly “relaunched” her career by being seen first in the song Ghagra for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, much before her film Gulab Gang hits theatres. But whether Aishwarya will take the same route is yet to be seen. Ram Leela is set for a November release, so either way, I suppose we’ll know soon whether Mrs Bachchan here has given the song the green light.
