From DDLJ to Chennai Express: SRK Visits Maratha Mandir

What a journey it’s been for Shah Rukh Khan! The actor, who is still on a Chennai Express promotion spree and has been visiting several cinemas over the last few days, stopped off at Maratha Mandir yesterday. As most of you know, Maratha Mandir is the cinema in Mumbai where Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is still running, over 17 years after it first released. So I bet it must have been quite the experience for SRK, seeing the Chennai Express and DDLJ posters side by side 🙂

I suppose it was a lot like coming full circle, especially since Chennai Express is full of shades of DDLJ. King Khan even tweeted a video of him there:
