Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput are two of the most talented young stars that we have in Bollywood today, so when Shuddh Desi Romance was first announced, I was very excited to see them work off each other. Not just because they’re both talented, but because they also seem quite different from each other – a difference that Anupama Chopra points out on this week’s episode of The Front Row. She asks Parineeti what their equation was like, since she seems to be talkative and he a lot quieter. Here’s what Parineeti said!
Anupama: Parineeti, my sense of you is you’re talkative, you’re very positive, very cheerful. Sushant, my sense is that you’re much quieter. How does this equation work on the set between takes?
Parineeti: Sushant and I have the best working relationship, and I can say that for both of us. We’ve discussed innumerable times how easy it is to work with him because our approach to a scene is very similar. The amount of thought we put in each and every dialogue, each and every expression is very similar. I remember many days when we used to sit and chat for hours and he’s a very, very intelligent boy so it’s fun talking to him, when he talks. But it’s like once a month!
(Both laugh)
Sushant: So it happened twice during the whole schedule.
