The upcoming release of Phata Poster Nikhla Hero means that Shahid Kapoor has been everywhere, giving several interviews. One such interview came out this morning, where the actor spoke about his growing up years and becoming an actor. While it was an interesting chat in its entirety, the real point of interest was him mentioning that he’s been single for the last two years, and thinks he should date a regular girl, since he’s “tired of dating heroines.”
Shahid says:
“I have always been in relationships. I am actually living my 20s in my 30s, as all through my 20s I was in relationships and ever since I have turned 30, I am single. It’s a great time and I am not letting it go for a while. But I know if I fall in love now, it will be for good as I don’t think I have the emotional energy to invest for a year and then break up and then go through the phase of being single. Also, I think I should date a normal girl. I am tired of dating heroines.”
