For a long time now, Katrina Kaif has been the face of beauty soap brand Lux. However, if word is to be believed, she will not be continuing her association with them. In fact, she may be replaced by another Bollywood lady entirely – Deepika Padukone is said to have agreed to take on the brand, but only after negotiating a pretty sweet deal for herself. The leading lady has hiked her price, which was inevitable keeping in mind that she’s now considered to be the number one heroine in the industry currently. Want to know what she may be getting paid?
Reports suggest that Deepika’s remuneration will be 6 crores, as opposed to Katrina’s, which was 4 crores. Mid-Day reports that an insider claims “things have finally fallen into place” after a few days of discussion, and DP fetched that price because of her recent successes.
The brand itself is yet to make a formal announcement, so we’ll have to wait to hear more.
