While Deepika Padukone may have missed out on the chance of acting with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker in Fast & Furious 7, our very own Fukrey star, Ali Fazal, quietly went off to the USA, shot a few scenes for the franchise, and is now headed back home without so much as a whimper about his Hollywood film cameo.
A number of local Bollywood stars like Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor and apparently even the delectable Chitrangda Singh auditioned for a role in the film. But ultimately, it went to Nathalie Emmanuel from Game Of Thrones.
As for Ali, he apparently has a couple scenes in a cameo role where he plays an eccentric tycoon. But the best part is that he has scenes with all the three lead stars of this franchise – Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Michelle Rodriguez.
And if that’s not enough, he even hung out with acting legend Kurt Russell. He tweeted:
Congratulations, Ali! We can’t wait to see more of you on the Hollywood screens.
