They say you haven’t really made it until you’ve been on Karan Johar‘s couch, but one actor who doesn’t subscribe to that belief is Salman Khan. He’s stayed away from the reality show through all three seasons, and even though there were talks a few years ago that he would finally relent, everything fizzled out and nothing ended up happening. However, if word is to be believed, then this time around we may all get lucky with a chance to see the Dabangg Khan himself on Koffee With Karan!
Karan Johar revealed recently that his chat show would be back for a new season in December, and they would begin shooting episodes then. Considering last season’s episode aired in April of 2011, that’ll be the end of his two-and-a-half-years hiatus. Now, to bring the show back with a bang, we hear that Salman has agreed to appear on an episode. Mirror claims that Salman and Karan have struck a deal, and he’ll be on the show alone, which is a rarity for Karan’s couch. (But at the same time, can you really think of anyone who’d be fit enough to sit next to Salman? I mean, I’d love it as much as the next person if KJo manages a casting coup and brings Salman and SRK together, but let’s be real, that’s probably not goingt o happen.)
We’re going to have to wait a while to know for sure whether this is true, but I’m already looking forward to it. Are you?
