It’s been several months since actress Jiah Khan died, allegedly because she committed suicide. However, her mother – Rabiya Khan – has only recently filed a new petition in court, claiming that her daughter may have been murdered instead. Reportedly, she thinks that the investigation was not done properly, and believes that the medical evidence shows that “something is missing” as far as suicide is concerned. She is now petitioning for a CBI probe into the death of her daughter.
In her petition, Rabiya has claimed that she strongly believes the investigation has been hushed up and that the police carried out their probes in such a way that it prevented the truth from coming out. She also says that there were injury marks on Jiah’s body, yet no one looking into the case made any attempt to determine what really happened.
