The picture of Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha being caught in the same frame has been everywhere lately. The pilot, who is clearly a fan, seems to have asked Amitabh to take a picture with him. What he didn’t bargain for was Rekha being caught in the background of the picture – in fact, the actress seems to visibly be turning away from the camera in order to not be caught. In any case, the picture clearly went viral, but did you know that the two of them may end up sharing screen space yet again? And not in a photo this time!
Remember when we told you that the makers of Welcome Back wanted Amitabh and Rekha for their film? It seems like there’s an update now – Anees Bazmee has gone on record to say that Rekha has said yes for the role, but he has yet to meet her and discuss it. As for Big B, nothing is confirmed as of yet, but the director has made it clear that he’d like him for the role.
What a casting coup it would be! I still think, though, that there’s a very slim chance of it working out – we’ll probably have to rely on this picture alone to see them in the same frame.
