Is there any age Amitabh Bachchan can’t play? He’s been a 12-year-old boy for Paa, and now, if word is to be believed, he’s all set to take on the role of a 102-year-old man! Reports suggest that he’s signed on director Umesh Shukla‘s film titled 102 Not Out, and will play a character who is determined to break the world record for the oldest man alive. In order to do that, he needs to live another 17 years!
According to the TOI report, Big B’s character will need to “retain his sense of wonder, curiosity and joy” in order to live for 17 years longer. He’ll also have a 72-year-old actor played by Paresh Rawal, who apparently learns quite a few things from him about the will to live.
I have a feeling this is going to be a big one, especially considering the talent that’s coming together – Amitabh, Paresh and Umesh Shukla, who is known for the fantastic Oh My God. Can’t wait to hear more about 102 Not Out as the days go by! Are you looking forward to it?
