The dreaded dengue disease seems to be sparing nobody these days. So many cases are being reported from film sets, of stars falling ill, thereby throwing the entire shooting and promotional schedule into chaos.
A few weeks ago, it was the hunky Ranveer Singh who was laid up in hospital because of dengue. What’s more is that he had to take enforced rest for about ten days, even after he was discharged.
Now, we hear actor Vir Das, too, has fallen ill with dengue. This is a huge setback for the actor, as he had scheduled appearances to promote his film, Sooper Se Upar, that releases at the end of October.
This is Vir Das’ first solo release and hence it was important for him to honour the promotional requirements.
