Yesterday evening, Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty took some time out to officially launch Raj’s new book, titled How Not to Make Money. When ridiculously rich people like Raj Kundra pen books called How Not to Make Money, you’ve got to raise your eyebrows for a bit, but – despite the title – this is not actually a how-to book. Rather, it’s a fictional story of three friends from the same London neighbourhood, who are out to get rich quick by using rather questionable methods.
Apparently, the book is based on the research that Kundra did on the missing trader fraud, a scam where organised crime gangs pocketed the value-added tax rather than paying it to the government. He has been writing the book for around five years, along with his friend Arghya Lahiri, who he claims ghostwrote portions of it.
The book is now in stores, so will you be picking it up? I’m interested!
