Malaika Arora Khan and Farah Khan have worked together many times before, most recently for Munni Badnaam and Anarkali Disco Chali. Now they’re all set to come together once more for Happy New Year! Farah has signed her on for a small role in the film – she will be playing an actress that Sajid Khan is directing. If you remember, it was confirmed earlier that Sajid also has a cameo in the film, where he will be playing himself – Sajid Khan, the director.
Farah has gone on record to say Malaika will be sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and Sonu Sood, but it remains to be seen whether she will have an item number in the film as well. As for now, all we know is that Farah is happy to have her on board – the director tweeted saying that Malaika is as stunning, hard working and punctual as she was 15 years ago, when they first worked together for Chaiyya Chaiyya.
