We know Rohit Shetty and team are looking for a leading lady for Singham 2, since he and Kareena Kapoor reached a mutual agreement that she shouldn’t do the film, unlike earlier planned. Considering the part wasn’t meaty enough for someone as big a star as Kareena, Rohit has been on the look out for someone relatively newer – however, contrary to recent reports, that girl is not Shraddha Kapoor.
When contacted, Shraddha indeed rubbishes the rumours, saying that: “I haven’t been approached for Singham 2 and there have been no talks to this effect. I am clueless about these speculations.” There are also rumours of her having signed on other films – Gabbar and Haider – but those have not been officially confirmed as of yet either.
Currently, the actress is currently busy with workshops for her upcoming film The Villain, which she will be doing alongside Sidharth Malhotra.
