Amitabh Bachchan has been pretty vocal about his love for Ram-Leela on Twitter, saying that he’s seen the film three times within twenty-four hours, and believes it to be the “genius of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.” Bhansali wasn’t the only one he was all praise for, however – we hear that the superstar was so taken by Deepika Padukone‘s performance that he immediately sent her a bouquet of her favourite flowers, and even took out the time to pen a handwritten note for the actress.
In the note, Big B wrote about how much he loved her performance, and – of course – Deepika was very touched by the gesture. We’re told that the actress considers it amongst the best gifts she’s ever received. And seeing that this is her third well-received performance this year after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Cocktail, you can say that she sure does deserve the love!
