These days, fashion is fast as it is affordable. We now have access to some pretty neat duds owing to high-street chains churning out some gorgeous clothes that cost a fraction compared to their runway counterparts. DLF Promenade recently hosted a bloggers’ meet where they invited select fashion bloggers to style certain looks while they competed to win an exciting range of goodies.
We were there front and centre to see all the action take place.
The contestants had to style a male and female model with a pre-selected trend. They ranged from party and punk to biker. They then had a couple of hours to source their looks and decide their hair and make-up. A special runway show was held judged by fashion designer Anupama Dayal and Bhumika Pant, Head of Christian Dior Boutiques.
The platinum haired, Dimpy Kapur won owing to her evening look that had a touch of Indian heritage.
Here’s hoping to see many more of these fun, fashion initiatives.
