Now that Ram-Leela is out, his in-character promotional rounds are over, and Gunday has been shot for, it was expected that Ranveer Singh would shave off his beard and moustache. What we didn’t expect, though, was such a drastic change – not only did he get rid of his scruff, but he also got a completely new hair cut and colour. From “dirty hot” to “chocolate boy” all in a day’s work – but the real question is, which of these looks suit him better?!
Ranveer stepped out in this new avatar for a party held at Olive in honour of the completion of Finding Fanny Fernandes. For those who are unaware, Finding Fanny Fernandes is a short film directed and written by Homi Adajania (of Cocktail fame), which also stars Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor. While Deepika and Arjun are the main leads, Ranveer features in a cameo appearance. Him being a part of the film was supposed to remain a secret, but it leaked to the media – apparently after the producers of Ram-Leela sent journalists on sets of Finding Fanny to interview Deepika and Ranveer.
The actor begins shooting for Shaad Ali‘s Kill Dil soon, so this is perhaps a look for that film. What we’re really getting from him, though, is a British boy band singer vibe. In fact, Dhruvi from Team MissMalini says that he reminds her of Nick Carter. *lol* I’m not sure if he should take that as an insult or a compliment, but do you see it too?
Whatever it is, we’re just happy that now we have an unobstructed view of that adorable dimple 🙂 See, see:
