And just as we had told you on Monday, Mumbai witnessed one of the most glamorous and stylish parties of 2013 last night, at the second edition of Grey Goose Style Du Jour.
Partnering with three fashion and lifestyle magazines – Elle, Noblesse and Harper’s Bazaar – the evening saw a pulsating fashion show where these three magazines combined, roped in a number of A-list designers to predict style trends for 2014.
Among those who showed a specially designed piece were Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna, Shane and Falguni Peacock, Nandita Mahtani, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, Amit Aggarwal, Namrata Joshipura, Shantanu Nikhil, Nikhil Thampi, and Shehla Khan.

However, the real icing on the cake was when Bollywood stars Kangana Ranaut, Sushmita Sen and Aditya Roy Kapur were felicitated for their style quotient.
Kangana Ranaut (looking hot in a cleavage revealing gown by Gucci) and Aditya Roy Kapur were awarded trophies for the Grey Goose Style Icon, female and male, respectively while Sushmita Sen (drop-dead-gorgeous as always) was awarded the Grey Goose Style Diva of the year 2013.
We managed to get in a few quick moments for a one-on-one chat with Aditya, after the event, and here’s what he told us about his style and about his upcoming Bollywood projects:

Team MissMalini: Tell us about your personal style?
Aditya Roy Kapur: What is my style? I really don’t know what my style is. I’m a fairly casually dressed fellow. And I’m not normally acquainted with style very much or being very dapper in that sense. But tonight, I have got my act together and I hope you can agree with me. But honestly, my style is just about being comfortable. I’ve been wearing the same stuff for a few years now. I like repeating myself. For me, it’s just about being comfortable in my shorts, chappals and loose shirt. That’s what makes me happy.
Team MM: Tell us about the films you’re currently working on?
ARK: The sad thing is that I can’t really talk about them much. I’m doing a film called Daawat -E-Ishq with Parineeti Chopra and the next film I’m doing is Fittoor with Katrina Kaif and Abhishek Kapoor is directing it.
But I can’t tell you anything more. I will be murdered if I do…!
