Having just won an award for being a style icon for the year 2013, it was quite apt that designer Rocky S. had invited the super stylish star, Kangana Ranaut, to officially launch the India Resortwear Fashion Calendar at the F-Bar in Mumbai last night.
Shot by Dabboo Ratnani in Goa and styled by the maverick Aki Narula, the calendar is a sizzling blend of fashion, fun and glamour.
To celebrate the launch, Rocky S. (who is the Creative Director of India Resortwear Fashion Week), invited all his close friends from the fashion and glamour world to party the night away with him.
Among those who we spotted were Evelyn Sharma, Nicole Faria, Riddhi and Siddhi Mapxencar, Pria Kataria Puri, Sara Loren and Babita Malkani.
Even actor Vivek Oberoi came to check out the calendar. We asked him to guide us through his favourite images and tell us about his style. Watch:
Team MissMalini: Tell us about your own personal style.
Vivek Oberoi: I’m pretty eclectic. I’m pretty mad. I always dress up according to how I’m feeling at that moment. I can go crazy. I can go from casual pajamas to a jacket and pocket square with slicked back hair – mafiosi style! I dress according to the mood I’m riding.
Team MM: Which designer are you sporting today?
VO: I’m wearing Arjun Khanna. He is a good buddy. We’ve done a lot of shoots together (along with Dabboo Ratnani) and we’re planning one more soon.

Team MissMalini: Tell us about your personal style?
Kangana Ranaut: Well, we have so many great artists here in India and I get to wear all these amazing clothes. Right now, I’m wearing Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna. In India now, international fashion is also becoming a big thing. And with our own talent and the international talent and with the world becoming so small because of being so connected, I think it’s not very difficult for us to be stylish and experimental. I think this is a great time for Indian fashion.
