Last night was the teaser launch of Sohail Khan‘s upcoming Salman Khan starrer, Jai Ho. While the brothers must have been super busy with the event, it was also their sister, Alvira Khan Agnihotri‘s birthday.
The actor (Salman Khan) who was in his usual form at the promo launch for his film made sure he didn’t forget to call his sister Alvira and wish her a happy birthday after the event got over.
Alvira, who is fondly nicknamed ‘baby’, is in Dubai with Salman’s stylist Ashley Rebello to celebrate her birthday and shop for some clothes. Salman couldn’t fly down because of his work commitments, but he and Sohail sang ‘Happy B’day Baby’ to her on the phone late night! How sweet! Bhai ho toh aisa!
In fact, in Jai Ho’s teaser, we see Tabu make an appearance after a while. She’s playing Salman Khan’s sister in the film. From the synopsis, we understand, it is Geeta (Tabu’s character) that asks Jai (Salman) not to take any action against the villain (played by Danny Denzongpa) to protect their family. As they do most of his films, Alvira and Ashley have styled Salman Khan for Jai Ho.
Salman is known to be very close to his family. Last year, most of them celebrated Alvira’s birthday together. They even make it a point to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, Eid, Raksha Bandhan and other major festivals together. Salman loves to shower his close ones with hefty gifts as well. Reportedly, he gave Alvira a diamond bracelet as an early birthday present this year.
