Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha are two of the most popular upcoming stars, and it sounds like they bonded a lot recently at Salman Khan‘s New Year’s Eve get together. The actor held a quiet celebration at his home along with family and a few friends, and there the two young stars were seen hanging out and chatting with each other. Not only that, but Arjun was all praises for Sonakhi, and Salman seemed to pick up on it as well. Industrywalla wrote in with some gossip, so read on to hear what happened.
Industrywalla says: Salman Khan brought in the new year at his farmhouse in Panvel with a fun New Year’s Eve celebration for himself and a selection of the people closest to him. The party was a relatively low key affair with mostly family members present, although a hand-full of other friends were there, like Arjun, Sonakshi, and Salman’s Jai Ho co-star Daisy Shah. Even though Arjun and Sonakshi haven’t worked together, they bonded pretty well at the bash. The young Kapoor lad was full of praises for Sonakshi, and was heard telling her how Lootera was one of his most favourite films of 2013. He even assured her that she will win all the critics awards this upcoming season! Salman seems to have noticed their growing bond, because he chimed in as well. The superstar told Sonakshi that he would like to see her and Arjun star in a film, since they both look good together and would make a good couple on screen.
Salman may not have to wait too long, since Sonakshi and Arjun have already signed a film together, called Tevar. It is the remake of the Telugu film Okkadu, and will be directed by Amit Sharma, the man behind the Google Reunion advertisement.The film is supposed to go on floors this month. Sonakshi herself has said that she’s sure their combination will look good.
