Back in July, we told you that Bipasha Basu has become very serious about boyfriend Harman Baweja, and has even been heard telling her friends that he’s “the one.” At that time, a friend of hers had even commented saying that he wouldn’t be surprised if she decided to tie the knot with Harman. If recent reports are anything to go by, then the friend’s prediction may indeed come true. Word has it that Bipasha and Harman really are planning on getting hitched soon!
Mirror reported this morning that Bipasha and Harman are planning on getting married this year, but that step was taken before John Abraham announced that he is married on Twitter. However, the two will only make this news official after Harman’s Dishkiyaon (produced by Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra) is out in theatres. Apparently, there has even been a meeting between the two sets of parents – after which, they have spent time together on a numerous other occasions as well.
Although Bipasha and Harman have attended events together in the past, the first time they actually stopped to pose for the media as a couple was during Raj Kundra’s success party at Royalty, for his book How Not to Make Money. They were later spotted exiting a restaurant after having dinner together, although at that time Bipasha had pulled up the screen of her car in an attempt not to be photographed further.
We’ll have to wait and see whether rumours of their marriage are indeed true, since, in a recent interview, Bipasha still claimed that she “doesn’t want to rush into it” although she does plan on getting married one day. She also didn’t admit to being in love with Harman, saying it’s “too premature to make a big statement” and she “can’t categorise” what he is to her. We guess time will tell which direction their relationship will take!
