Ragini MMS-2 is being promoted as a “horrex” film – a new genre which indulges the movie goer’s love for horror and, of course, sex. But this doesn’t seem to have gone down too well with adult star Sunny Leone, who plays the lead role in the film.
In fact, producer Ekta Kapoor and Sunny are having serious fights over the film’s teaser, which was released yesterday on YouTube. I have heard that Sunny isn’t too happy with the new promo, because she had specifically asked Ekta to tone down the skin show in the teaser – especially a particular shot where her butt is being shown as she’s waking towards a corridor.
Sunny, who is trying hard to get more films in Bollywood, wants to stay away from positioning herself as only ‘sexy’ within this industry, as she already has an adult website operational which allows people to see her racy avatar.
She wanted the film to be marketed as more scary and less sexy, and this had lead to a big argument between the two.
