Max Fashion and Cosmopolitan magazine are on a three-city hunt for the freshest new models in India, with a grand finale event to be held in Delhi next month.

The first stop was in Bangalore earlier this week, and TeamMissMalini was there to witness a grand evening featuring a bevy of blushing babes and sculpted boys… all vying to become the Max Fashion Icon 2014.

The winners will get a number of fabulous prizes, including the honor of becoming the next face of Max Fashions for their 2014 campaign.

Judges for the Bangaluru round included photographer Jatin Kampani, fashion designer Gaurav Gupta, supermodel Pallavi Singh, choreographer Aparna Behl, Cosmopolitan’s Editor, Nandini Bhalla and Max Fashions Executive Director, Vasanth Kumar.

Team MissMalini: Tell us what you thought about the contestants from Bangalore?

Pallavi Singh: They are very confident and I feel that this contest is an amazing stage for them. It has judges like Aparna Behl, Jatin Kampani, Gaurav Gupta and Nandini, herself. So this is contest will give them a good boost for a career in the modeling industry and I wish them all, all the very best!”

Team MM: What were you looking for in the contestants?

Jatin Kampani: I was looking for a lot of poise, a self-developed personality, their flair for carrying all sorts of clothing really well and somebody who can actually help move the fashion industry forward.

Team MissMalini: Congratulations Darshithmitha, on winning the Bangaluru round! How did you prepare for this contest?

Darshithmitha: A friend of mine told me about this contest. So I came for the auditions a few days ago and got selected. It was a great experience and this contest is a great platform.

Team MM: Do you have any Bollywood ambitions?

Preetham: I’m planning for South Indian movies. Let’s see what I get.
