Did you notice that Zoya Akhtar has a tendency to lean towards song names from Excel Entertainment movies as the titles for her films? She took Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara from the title song of Rock On!!, and now she has gone ahead and named her upcoming film Dil Dhadakne Do – which, if you remember, is a song on the ZNMD soundtrack.
This is a conscious decision on Zoya’s part, and it seems like the director decided to name her film Dil Dhadakne Do as she thought it would be lucky to use a song title again, since ZNMD went on to become such a big hit. Since Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara did very well, everyone has been telling her that taking the title from a song has been extremely lucky for her. Therefore, she ended up opting for Dil Dhadakne Do.
The film, which is set to release on 5th June 2015, has an ensemble cast which includes Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar. Are you looking forward to it?
