You won’t believe the conversations/discussions Team MissMalini has over Bollywood celebrities and their style (and the amount of drool accumulating on our floors!), so here’s a peak BACKSTAGE at the MissMalini HQs before we reach a verdict!
Rashmi Daryanani: He looks cute and I really like the t-shirts that he wears… but he’d look a lot better shirtless.
Dhruvi Shah: I have to say I have jumped on the bandwagon of Varun Dhawan fans, ever since I’ve watched the Main Tera Hero promos. While I agree with Rashmi on him looking drool-worthy shirtless, I love this Amar Prem (Andaz Apna Apna reference for the win) tee. He gets brownie points from me for incorporating classic film style in his fashion sense.
As for Ileana D’Cruz, I’m not completely on board with her look. And no, that has nothing to do with the fact that Varun is wooing her. Ok, maybe.
Nowshad Rizwanullah: I’m having trouble focusing on the fashion here, since the fans behind Ileana are so much more amusing. That being said, I’m not a huge fan of her outfit. She looks like a giant American flag in sunglasses and heels. This may have worked in Texas on the 4th of July, but not here. I do like her very #geekchic robot necklace, though, so I guess it’s not all bad!
Marv D’Souza: Varun and Ileana! They are a good looking lot but I wish they rocked a more well-executed look!
Varun: The Tshirt is kinda cool and the overall look is a classic can’t-go-wrong tee/denim combo. But there could have been an element of quirk in his sneakers.
Ileana: Awww! That jumpsuit is doing NOTHING to flatter her silhouette and the jacket seems a bit forced for a prints clash look!
MissMalini: I give both their looks a double thumbs up! Love Varun’s throwback “Amar Prem” tee and casual college-boy style (God knows he’s one Bollywood hottie still young enough to rock it!) Also full points for NOT wearing too-tight denims that give me the heebie jeebies.
Ileana looks super cute in her polka dot jumpsuit and candy striped jacket. Simply accessorised with a long statement necklace and nude pumps. Cute & comfy. I’m loving it 🙂
