Here are the whispers we’ve been hearing lately: Uday Chopra and girlfriend Nargis Fakhri seem to be having different views about taking their relationship to the next level. A source recently revealed to us that while Uday is keen on marrying Nargis, she is not in a rush to settle down as of yet. In fact, according to this person, it seems that the two have reached a point where both of them want different things out of life, and that seems to be taking a toll on their relationship.
We’re told that Nargis, who won critical acclaim for Madras Cafe, wants to do some more films and even try her hand in Hollywood before settling down – she even has a film lined up. Uday, on the other hand, feels that she’s the one for him and now’s the right time to take that big step.
We reached out to Nargis, who told us, “I don’t know where crazy rumours like that come from! Just so random. Marriage isn’t on the cards for me. And when I do and whoever I marry, I won’t want to keep it a secret. For now, I’m focusing on work, lots to do!”
