At the Team MissMalini HQs, we’ve been totally feeling the 2 States soundtrack lately – Locha-E-Ulfat, in particular, has been on repeat all morning. So we were pretty kicked to check out the new video promo of Chaandaniya, which is a lovely little song about how everything seems to look a little dull when you’re not with the person you love. It comes at a point in the movie when the two lead characters are separated because – as Alia‘s character says in the movie – sometimes love is not enough. I love the lyrics, written by the fantastic Amitabh Bhattacharya, who always seems to understand love and longing so well – he has, in the past, penned songs like Ankahee (Lootera), Kabira (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani) and Raabta (Agent Vinod). These, too, are great:
